When we talk about negotiation, we often think of commercial negotiation, where a seller tries to convince and persuade a buyer to pay a high price, or, conversely, where a buyer tries to ‘drive down the price’ with a supplier.

'I'm not a salesperson' is the belief and the reason why many talented specialists and professionals do not know how to negotiate well and do not even learn how to do so.

In reality, negotiation is a fundamental skill for collaboration between people to conclude agreements, set deadlines, assign tasks, define priorities and so on; like any skill, it can be learned. The most intuitive and effective tools we offer at Alkyma are drawn from the Harvard School of Negotiation, combined with the art of professional coaching questions, enhanced by NLP communication techniques.

With this empowerment programme, participants will learn to understand what people want or DON'T want, learn to “say no gracefully”, learn to understand when to stop and how to turn a NO into a YES.
